While driving down the beautiful corridors of Badrinath a thought continuously swept into my mind. All these beautiful roads, the small shops along them with the tastiest noodles you’ll ever have in the world are hiding so many beautiful secrets within them.
At one such shop I met Brij who was from nearby state of Uttar Pradesh. His chatting skills were as good as his cooking skills. I was sipping the tea when we got into discussion about the mountains, the roads, the landslides which are very common in these areas and other worldy woes.
Soon a group of people swarm to the shop and Brij got busy with catering them. It was around an hour after noon. I was lost in enjoying the cup of tea and the view of the majestic valleys with the cool breeze.
This breeze somehow has the power to make you feel alive and fills the soul with rejoice. I wish my tea would last forever as its warmth was the only thing giving my body the energy to fight the cool breeze.
I turned around to give the tea glass back to Brij when I noticed that the swarm of people have leff. The place was suddenly back to its original peace offering. Calmness swept over when I saw Brij collecting the garbage from the front of the shop. Indeed the swarm had gone but breadcrumbs were left behind.
I couldn’t helped myself but noticed that Brij was carefully collecting the garbage but not throwing it all in the bin. He was kind of sorting it out. So I asked him
“Brij, why are you sorting the garbage?”
He said, “Sir, I collect the glass, plastic and throw only the garbage which is degradable.”
“But why? Why can’t you throw it all away?”
I being the kind of guy who don’t like to keep mess had
